![]() In this study, sequentially discussed about (a) the concept of closed agriculture (b) the concept of LOF, (c) forage plants as the main source of nutrients in the manufacture of LOF, (d) animal manure as the main source of nutrients in the manufacture of LOF, (e) microorganisms effective in making LOF, (f) enrichment of LOF with zinc micronutrient, and (g) development of LOF. This book comprehensively discusses the use of LOF in organic vegetable production. However, the results of the study concluded that the application of solid organic fertilizer in the production of organic vegetables must be added to the application of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) to increase the efficiency of solid organic fertilizer application. The use of solid organic fertilizers is generally done by immersing it into the soil before planting in order to provide nutrients for plants and improve chemical and physical properties, as well as soil biology. Increasing consumer demand for organic vegetables must be balanced with vegetable production practices that meet organic vegetable standards. In addition, the effectiveness of organic farming also continues to increase in line with advances in plant production technology in agriculture. Organic farming is also able to provide agricultural products that are healthy and safe for consumption. Organic agriculture is the future of agriculture, because organic crop production can increase the sustainability of the availability of land and water resources. The practices of crop productions in a closed farming system is an organic farming practice which, among other things, aims to increase the efficiency of chemical use and preserve land resources. ![]()
